Hey friends! I just got an email from my son's teacher explaining that there are two weeks left of the school year. I can't believe summer is so near; it seems we just managed to find our quarantine rhythm, LOL.
I plan to continue much of the routine we currently have, but know a new routine will be emerging. I would like to think it includes lots of grilling, time in the backyard, and *fingers crossed* maybe even some pool time, or a trip.
For us, quarantine has been a combination of cozy, overwhelming, challenging, with a few dashes of memory making and exhaustion, and a massive sprinkle of baking. I imagine you can relate. I find that a routine is very near changing when I just get comfortable with the current one. Anyone else?!
I am planning to start up my weekly meal plans again, in an effort to stay the course of eating well, and easing some of the 3 PM, 'what's for dinner' craziness that can often happen.
This week’s adventure food: verde chicken. The boys are no stranger to chicken, however, they usually prefer it plain, and with minimal seasoning. As I always like to remind them, different is good!
