Everyone needs fast and delicious protein options, and this cod can be served as tacos, or on its own, and the side possibilities are endless. I have also adjusted the heat, so it’s family friendly. And bonus, it comes together in about 15 minutes!

Ingredients
- 4 fillets cod
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper omit if you don't want the heat or are serving to children
- 1 lime or lemon cut into wedges
Instructions
- Pat cod dry with a paper towel
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a small bowl, evenly cover the fish with the mixture (reserve some for the bottom of the fish, once you flip)
- Heat skillet over medium high heat, once hot, add the ghee and avocado oil. Carefully, add the fish seasoned side down, and sprinkling remaining seasonings on the unseasoned side
- Sear for 4 minutes DO NOT TOUCH until the timer dings, then carefully flip using a fish spatula, searing another 4 minutes
- Squeeze of fresh lime or lemon, and serve as desired
